Jayne is an amazing woman that has endured some unimaginable challenges. On July 16th 2023, Jayne lost her home to a fire. She had lived in that home for 22 years so her loss included not only all of her belongings, but her pictures and family heirlooms as well. Even through the set-back Jayne has remained a positive person, a loving mom, and an incredible grandma for her family. Despite her resilience, Jayne is facing new challenges that are creating a major financial burden. In 2018, Jayne was diagnosed with COPD. Since then, her disease has progressed to the point where she is no longer able to work. Jayne’s shortness of breath is so severe that it is impacting her ability to do day-to-day tasks or even hold a full conversation without needing to take several breaks to take some deep breaths and is dependent on oxygen at night.

Due to the severity of her disease, Jayne has not been able to work since October of this year and unfortunately the bills keep piling up. Jayne has always been a giver and would never ask for any kind of help, but she is truly the type of person that deserves it. She has impacted so many families in our community by helping them find their forever homes as a realtor so it was a real tragedy to see her loose hers. She was a mentor in her more recent years as lead banquet server, helping make community weddings and events beautiful and run without a hitch. Jayne brings so much joy and goodness to her family, friends, and community and we are hoping we can repay a small portion of that favor by easing some of her current financial burden.
