Support Jean Werly on his Journey to Asylum in the US
Donation protected
Jean Werly is a friend of ours from Haiti who is seeking refuge in the US from the violence in his his home country. As you may known, the gang violence in Haiti has recently intensified, and an attempted political coup has left many Haitians without a home, forcing them to leave the country in search of health and safety. Jean Werly fled Haiti about six months ago, and has finally been granted an appointment with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol for next Tuesday, April 23. To attain refugee status, he will need to provide CBP with a US address at which he will reside, and proof of travel (such as a plane ticket) to that destination. Jean Werly has secured temporary housing in Washington, D.C., and as his friends we would like to help him to purchase a plane ticket to ensure his entry into and travel within the US. Please consider helping us in this effort with a donation. All funds will be used to support Jean Werly's travel to his US destination, where he will establish residency.
