Support Jeff and Stephanie Through Tough Times

Addition by Kenzo Barlow:
Many people know or have met Jeff and Stephanie Horstman from joining the volunteer organization the 501st Legion back in 2016. Both have selflessly volunteered hundreds of hours to aid in countless events and raising funds for charities in Kentucky and it's neighboring states. Jeff was previously our local Event Coordinator who was the absolute backbone of our local club in getting us to support charitable events. Jeff made everyone feel welcomed with his unmatched witty humor and his caring nature at events or outside the volunteer organization.
Currently, Stephanie has become a full time caretaker for Jeff due to being laid off from her previous employment. With Jeff currently battling cancer, any financial support for the mounting medical and future expenses will go a long way in helping them both as they have enough on their plate.

5/13/24 UPDATE: The Mayo Clinic confirmed that the cancer has NOT spread, which thankfully puts things back to "stage 3." The major surgery to remove the existing cancer is set for 5/20.
This will hopefully extend Jeff's life from months to years (5 years being the median) with ongoing scans and immunotherapy.
The love and support you have shown them has been a huge emotional boost to them as they navigate the terrible rollercoaster they have been the past few months.

5/9/24 UPDATE:
The surgeon had a second opinion biopsy completed and has subsequently sent everything to a specialty Mayo Clinic lab in Arizona. IF the results return as benign, this changes the terminal timeline to "a few years instead of a few months."
While the cancer would still be terminal, this would mean more time together and more time to prepare for the inevitable.
Jeff and Steph wish to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support for them. The financial help so many have offered will go a long way to help with the huge medical costs accruing on them as they fight this battle.

As many of you now know, horrible events have come to light lately for Jeff and Stephanie, I’m starting this to help offset some of their expenses that will undoubtedly increase.
Jeff was diagnosed with esophageal cancer recently, that has rapidly spread, and is now considered incurable/terminal. He only has months left to live.
Stephanie was let go from her position not that long ago, and continues to remain home to nurse and assist Jeff.
Right now anything would be helpful. Things are extremely tight for them. If we can help keep even a small amount of worry off their shoulders, I’d sure like to try.
thank you in advance.
