**Help Dad Recover from a Massive Stroke and Heart Failure**

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for our dad, Jeff Findle, who recently suffered a massive stroke, causing additional harm to his already weak heart, while visiting a friend in Colorado. What was supposed to be a brief and enjoyable visit turned into a life-altering event, and our family is now faced with the challenge of helping him recover and bring him back home to Raleigh, North Carolina to be with his Cardiology team and begin his long road of healing.

**The Situation:**

While spending time with a close friend in Colorado, our dad suddenly experienced a massive stroke that left him in critical condition. He was rushed to the nearest hospital, where doctors have been working tirelessly to stabilize him from the impact of the stroke while also containing a critical heart failure condition that has plagued him for years and has since resurfaced. He is currently in the ICU now, waking up to his new reality and only beginning his journey. Thankfully, he appears to be out of immediate danger, but the situation is evolving and the road to recovery will be long and challenging.

**The Challenge:**

Our dad's stroke has affected his mobility, speech, and overall quality of life. He will require extensive rehabilitation, including physical therapy, speech therapy, and ongoing medical care. Given the severity of his condition, it is crucial that we transport him back to Raleigh, where he can be closer to his family and receive the specialized rehabilitation and cardiovascular care he needs.

However, transporting our dad from Colorado to North Carolina is no simple task. Due to his condition, a commercial flight is not an option. We need to arrange for air medical transport, which is an incredibly expensive but necessary service to ensure his safe return home.
