On July 17th, 2024, Jeff Jones and his family’s lives changed forever in a matter of minutes.

Jeff and his friends were out for a weekend of fun, swimming and playing golf. Jeff’s friends were sitting in the lake on life jackets, and Jeff thought the lake was deeper than it was. Jeff dove into the lake, hitting his head and severing his spine. Jeff started to seize, was removed from the water, and flown to Big Baylor in Dallas.

In the short time at Baylor, Jeff has undergone surgery on his spine to fuse it together, but still has no feeling from his chest down. They have also put rods and pins in to realign his spine. Jeff is also having issues with his blood pressure and heart rate. Jeff has been in ICU for 12 days and continues to go through therapy. He will be moved to a regular room and receive more rehabilitation, then moved to inpatient rehabilitation for 4-6 weeks. He still has a long road ahead of him.

I’m asking for funds to help with medical bills, remodeling of their house to make it accessible, and other expenses.

Jeff is lucky to have a wonderful family that supports him. Jeff has his beautiful wife Amber and their daughter Addison, who is still in high school.
