A Second Chance

My name is Jeff Standley Jr, also known as Lord_Standley by others.
Recently, I was hospitalized for blood clots in my left leg, and while at the hospital, I met with a cardiologist. They ran tests on my heart as my blood pressure was dangerously high and my resting heart rate was 180 bpm. Now, after the clots were taken care of, I was released from the hospital after two days as I don't have insurance, and my heart rate and blood pressure went down to a stable number. Soon after getting home, I was called by the cardiologist about the test results and was told I needed to come back to his office ASAP to discuss my results of what they had found. This scared me, but as I've had heart problems since I was born, it didn't really bring up any red flags for me. Well, after the meeting, I was told that he was stunned that I was even walking into his office. He let me know that the problems that I've lived with for 33 years have gotten worse to the point where I need to get heart surgery, as if left alone, I would only have about a year left to live at the current rate that things are going, and that I am 100 percent at risk to have a heart attack. This hit me hard, and I almost passed out as my blood pressure and heart rate skyrocketed from the news.
Now, a bit of backstory to my heart issues. I was born with an irregular heartbeat and heart murmurs. At the time, doctors didn't think much of all this as they told my parents that it would fix itself out later in life. This did not happen as I've been on medicine for hypertension and medicine to control my heartbeat from going up to a dangerous rate.
Now, at 33 years old, these medicines just simply aren't enough anymore to keep things for me to live a somewhat regular life. At random points in the day, my heart will skip a beat or two, followed by a massive spike in my heart rate and blood pressure. They had said to me over and over that there was nothing they could do but try different medicines and that the tests that they had run never came up with anything life-threatening. Well, now we are here as I'm fighting for my life.
Since I have no insurance, I'm having to try and pay for it all out of pocket, and luckily, I have family that are able to pay a large portion of the bill, around 60-70 thousand of it. But it just isn't enough as I have to pay for aftercare, money for expensive medicines, rent, and money to give myself to live my everyday life till I'm able to go back to working or get SSI benefits.
Now, I know this isn't a small chunk of change that I'm asking for; I'm fully aware of this. But hear me out as I have so much left to live for. I want to see my niece's first prom, my two nephews getting married and having kids, and being able to be there for my parents as they are in their 70s and don't deserve to have to outlive their only son. So, I'm asking you from the deepest part of my being that if you can help, please consider doing so. Below, I will list what the money will be spent on.
* Money needed to finish being able to afford the procedure
* After care as i will be recovering the most time at home and expensive medicines that i will need
* money to pay rent and supply me with everyday items like food ( I'm on a special diet ) and to be able to have a small amount of money to live off of till i can either get a work from home job or till i got ssi benefits.
Now, if you have made it this far into my story and my plea for help, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and all I can say is please give me a chance. I have so much to fight for and live for still. Any donations are more welcomed than I can express with words. You're not only donating for a young man to have another chance at life, but you're giving three little kids and a family the ability to have more time with a family member that they love. Hope all of you here have a blessed day.
