Support Jeff Willis in his Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
“Don’t take things for granted"… "Everyday is a Blessing"…. These have become things we say in passing but not necessarily practice as we go through our lives. Until the day you receive a terminal diagnosis. In late March, Jeff Willis had brain surgery to remove a Glioblastoma (incurable brain cancer). At 63 years, just barely retired, Jeff and his wife of 44 years, Kasey, were looking forward to their new adventure in Selah, living right close to their grandbabies. So many plans, so much life ahead of them. Time to enjoy their hard work paying off.
Instead, they are facing a new normal. Doctor visits, experimental treatments, traveling to get care. Living in the moment has new meaning to them and the ones that love them. I am starting this GoFundMe to give everyone who knows and loves this man an opportunity to contribute if they are touched by his story, more likely that you have been touched by him in your life, as Jeff has the biggest heart, greatest laugh and has honestly set the example for all of us to live life "By the Golden Rule". It is my hope that this family can pursue some of Jeff’s Bucket List of trips with his kids, adventures with friends, dates with his bride while he battles this ugly unfair illness. None of us have the power to heal him as we wish we could, but we can share our blessings and keep the prayers going as they have brought him so much comfort.
Love Thy Neighbor, give the hugs, make the time for those you love and be grateful for your health as I never imagined that I would be writing these words about my Uncle Jeff.
This GoFundMe campaign will only be open for 10 days as the family is so humble in the outpouring they have already received.
