Hi, everyone!
My name is Jeffrey Duvall, and you can find me on Facebook and see my injury photos here:

On February 21, 2025, I underwent a transverse metatarsal amputation, losing all the toes on my right foot due to an aggressive bone infection that threatened my lower leg. The silver lining? Now my feet match again.
Unfortunately, my healing process has hit some setbacks. I’ve developed a new infection, and while an X-ray suggests it might be in the bone, we won’t know for sure until further testing. For now, I’m starting daily IV antibiotics for two weeks in hopes of stopping the infection before it spreads. If that doesn’t work, I’ll need an MRI to get a clearer picture.
I never imagined I’d be asking for help, but my wife and I have faced major financial struggles over the past year. She had to leave a good job so we could escape a rental home riddled with toxic mold—an environment that was making us sick.
In addition to medical expenses, I’m facing costs that Medicare doesn’t fully cover, including:
20% copay on a mobility scooter to help me regain independence.
Household safety equipment like grab bars and ramps to prevent falls.
Ongoing out-of-pocket medical costs related to treatment and recovery.
We’re doing our best to stay afloat, but these unexpected expenses have made things even harder. Any donation, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward covering these costs. If you’re unable to give, simply sharing this post would also mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
