Jeffry "Greeny" Greenfield has left us too soon, and we are struggling to come to terms with this devastating loss. He left behind two boys, Beau and Canon, ages 9 and 11. If you are able to donate, your generosity would be greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the burden during this difficult time. All funds will go to the costs of memorial services and towards Beau and Canon's future. Thank you for your kindness.

Obituary:

Jeffry Paul Greenfield, (Greeny ) age 40, was born July 20, 1983, in Red Oak, Iowa to Steven Greenfield and Karla Greenfield. He graduated from Villisca High in 2002. He lived most of his life near or in Villisca, Iowa. Jeffry purchased a home in Red Oak in 2019. In his teens Jeffry loved to ride dirt bikes and enter races. His favorite pastime, especially after a rain, was hunting for Native American artifacts from the family field. Other hobbies of his were hunting, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. He would often take his sons Beau (11) and Canon (9) rock hunting, fishing, or playing near the river at his favorite spot on the family land, the Campground. Recently he took his sons canoeing to Campground. Jeffry was an outdoors man. He loved to work outside. He installed satellites as a first job, then ran dozers and operated other heavy machinery for most of his working years. Preceding Jeffry in death were his grandfather, Bernard Bruce and grandmother, Wilma Greenfield. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve Greenfield and Karla Greenfield both of Villisca; sons, Beau Greenfield and Canon Greenfield, Emily Barbour (Ryan) of Red Oak; brother Jeremy Greenfield and wife Amanda of Huntington Beach, CA; sister Julie Ford and husband Brad of Red Oak; Niece Lilly Ford, nephews, Gavin Ford, Dom Ford and Logan Greenfield.
