Support Jen Wurtz's Recovery

On November 4th, our mom suffered a sudden stroke that left her without the use of the right side of her body. The extent of the stroke and the length of recovery is the reason we're creating this fundraiser, as we all know the extraordinary cost of medical care especially long-term.

She is working through the initial stages of recovery, and the smile on her face is as beautiful as ever.

Anybody who knows Jen knows that she's a caregiver by heart - Always being there as a mother, a friend, and a shoulder to lean on. She spent a majority of the last year caring for her mother at the end of her life, and sacrificed so much along the way. Now it's her turn to receive the love and care that she deserves. The amount of love that has already been offered is overwhelming and appreciated.

We turn to the community around us now for support on her recovery journey. The length of her hospital stay is not yet determined, but we know it will be a long journey of rehabilitation, physical therapy and persistence. During this time, medical bills will accumulate on top of the lack of pay now that she's out of work. Taking away some of the financial worry during this time is something we would be so extremely grateful for and we thank those in advance for any and all support, love and kind words.
