Support Jennell's Fight for Mobility and Health

I am Jennell, and I am going to be 56 in May. 25 years ago, I had a doctor tell me that if I lived over 50, he would be surprised. Of course, I thought he was nuts! I worked in healthcare, I took care of patients, I never drank very much, did drugs, and my diabetes was okay.

When I turned 42, my legs started hurting. Every doctor kept saying, you have back issues and probably neuropathy. No meds helped; they kept getting worse. I had surgery on my back and lost the feeling in my right leg.

One day, I noticed my arteries popping out of my foot and ankles. I went to my foot doctor. She called my cardiologist, and they got me in that day.

They noticed my pulse was barely feasible on my foot. They had to go in and clean my arteries out. Since that day, I have had over 40 surgeries on my leg, a triple bypass on my heart, and a couple of small surgeries on my heart. Now, when my heart rate gets above 90, I feel chest pain, and I feel like I am having a heart attack. My cardiologist stated I also have an aortic dissection, which can break at any time, and I would die.

I lost my left leg, and they want to take off my right leg now. Insurance will not pay for medical devices that we need to put in our home. I also need an electric wheelchair. I can use my leg to help get me around, but when my heart rate goes up, I have to stop and take medicine and pray it goes away.

So I am asking for help now! It's taken me a year to do this, but I need help. Maybe I won't get very much, but any amount will help. I also have a cash app if you would rather use that!
