Support Jenni Baum's Battle Against Cancer

On September 16, 2024, my sister, Jenni Baum, received devastating news. After many doctor appointments this summer, and waiting for biopsy results, her worst fears became reality when she heard the word, cancer. Triple-negative breast cancer. Her first thoughts were of her teenage son, Hayden, her greatest joy and the love of her life. No parent wants to have a conversation with their child about chemo, surgeries, and radiation; their conversations should be about school, friends, colleges, video games, etc. Jenni is a strong and very independent woman (must run in the family), but she will be waging a battle against this disease. As many of you know, she lives over 2700 miles from 95% of her family. I wanted to start fundraising efforts as soon as possible to help alleviate her fears and anxiety surrounding how she will cover medical payments, medication costs, and still support Hayden and herself financially.

Her oncologist has instructed her to take at least 6 months of sick leave from work. She will begin aggressive chemo & immuno therapy treatments on October 17, 2024. Followed by surgery, radiation, and maintenance medications. Medical appointments have filled her calendar for months already. Would you please consider a donation?
