Once upon a time an innocent child came into this world... Makenna Rae is currently fighting for her life after months of extreme physical abuse at the hands of the adults in her life.

Here are some of the injuries that were discovered when Makenna was admitted to Rainbows close to death:
- Ruled non accidental trauma at Rainbows
- Brain bleed
- Blind from brain injury
- Broken collar bone
- Broken ribs
- Broken tail bone
- Broken elbow
- Right spiral fracture in leg
- Left tib fib fracture
- All organs bruised, liver being the worst
- Malnourished, 12 lbs when brought to the hospital at 7 months old
- 8 stages of bruising to face
- Swelling to face
- NG tube, won't take a bottle due to injury and malnourishment
- Brachial nerves pulled out of bundle in right arm
- Brain damage, we won't know the permanent damage until further down the road
Makenna Rae is now safe, with her paternal Grandmother Jennifer, who currently has custody and has been with her day and night since this horrific situation was discovered. We are looking to help raise funds for Jennifer as she has been off work for many months and will continue to be at Makenna's side, with no income.
Makenna continues to suffer seizures due to her brain bleed. She has been to Rainbows for many surgeries and will continue to need close care and monitoring.
