Support Jennifer DeLucia’s fight against Cancer
Donation protected
When I think of Jenn, I think of someone I would want to take care of me. Now is our chance to take care of her.
In November 2021, Jennifer DeLucia was diagnosed with two very aggressive forms of cancer: acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and malignant lymphoma.

Jenn is a 27-year-old Paramedic living in Wilmington, North Carolina. She’s hardworking, extremely smart, outgoing, genuine, funny, silly, humble, a great conversation and an active listener. Jenn can save your life and put a smile on your face right after. She loves her father, two older brothers, extended family, cat Rue, and boyfriend, Taylor. She is a Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox fan through and through.

For many years before her diagnosis, she has had multiple leg, knee, and hip pain issues. She sought out many doctors for help, but they blamed the pain on old sports injuries, resulting in misdiagnoses. She relied on cortisone shots, physical therapy, and medications to relieve the unknown pain.
After many years of various treatments, the pain was never fully addressed. Finally, one doctor ran blood tests and a bone scan and sent her to an oncologist for a PET scan and bone biopsy. This doctor trusted Jenn when she pleaded that her pain was something more than just an old injury. What he saw in the scans left him speechless. The scans showed her body was riddled with tumors throughout.

After receiving multiple serious diagnoses, Jenn quickly met with the oncology team to develop a treatment plan. She initially had a PORT placed in her right chest but then developed a blood clot (deep vein thrombosis [DVT]) in her neck (internal jugular vein [IJV]), so it had to be removed. She had a PICC line placed into her arm, which lasted a few months until a new PORT was placed in her left chest to continue easy administration of medications and therapies.
Jenn regularly needs treatment from the N.C. Cancer Hospital in Chapel Hill and the Zimmer Cancer Center in Wilmington. Since November 2021, Jenn has had over 500+ lab tests, 68 outpatient visits, six hospital admissions lasting between 5-30 days, 12 emergency room visits, 15 lumbar punctures and ten different chemotherapy drugs. She now has a Zio heart monitor. Jenn has needed multiple blood transfusions and platelet infusions. She needs numerous medications to ease symptoms, prevent infections and treat new complications that the chemotherapy has caused.

Jenn’s story is one of resilience. Against all odds, Jenn advocated for herself and her body. As of June 2022, she is halfway through her course of treatment, and her treatment team says she is moving in the right direction. In the coming days, Jenn may require a stem cell transplant and may need further support.

Together we can help Jenn pay her medical bills, successfully recover and go on to pursue her career as a Paramedic. She's 27 years old and has her whole life ahead of her. We all want to see her heal.
Her family, friends, and I want to see her fully recover. Jenn needs at least $800,000 to pay off her existing bills. You’re helping her pay for medical bills, household expenses, meals, and medications when you donate. Even if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you!!!
