Support Jennifer During Her Battle With Cancer

I’m making this GFM as a way for people to show support to my parents in their time of need.

As probably very few of you know Jennifer, the woman we all know and love as J-MO & Mama Jen, was diagnosed with oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma which is an aggressive form of throat cancer, a few months ago. These next few months are going to be very hard on my family, especially on her as she undergoes radiation treatments.

My parents are big supporters of our community and always go out of their way to help others. They try their best to help in many ways. Often feeding those who can not afford to eat, they’ve never sent anyone away hungry. Even if giving advice or just to listen Jennifer has been there for so many of us, if you know her you know exactly how true this is. She is one of the most understanding and supportive souls I have ever known.

J-MO’s is my parents livelihood. They put everything on the line and took a huge leap of faith 5 years ago and invested everything, time, love, and money into opening their food truck. They have made a connection with and left an impact on many people. We are asking for your support during this time to help relieve them of the stress of not being able to open as many days as they would like while she goes through a long, hard journey of recovery. Even if you’re unable to make a donation just going out to the truck on days they are able to make it out to support them will help! I’ve been wanting to make this to help them out for a few weeks now but Jennifer being her never wanted it to come to this. Being 15 treatments in and 20 left to go the effects of radiation are really starting to take a toll on her making it extremely difficult for her to be able to work on the truck! Let’s show her support and how much she means to us!
