Support Jennings family during difficult loss

Hi, my name is Rose Jennings and I am Luann's youngest daughter. For those who don't know my mom she was an amazing woman, born and raised in North Minneapolis. She had her career with HCMC for 20 years where she made an impact on multiple people, and over her 70 years of life she has been a light in so many peoples lives.

In April 2023 My Mom found out she had Bile Duct Cancer, which is a cancer that affects the liver and kidneys. Despite the difficult news we stayed in good spirits and continued to pray. In July of 2023 she started Chemotherapy in hopes that it would kill the cancer.

Not long after starting Chemotherapy she became very weak, extremely tired, with a major loss of appetite. As a family we catered to her wants and needs especially my Dad, In December she decided she had enough of the Chemo as it had done a number on her body and after the last appointment she attended she had a challenging time getting up the stairs in her split level home. In Jan 2024 my mom was taken by ambulance to the hospital and her stability went back and forth.

She started getting better in February and was able to go to a rehabilitation home to work on her strength so she could start walking. She was there for 3 weeks when we got a call that she had been rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Fast forward to March this year she was admitted back into the hospital and sedated due to difficulty breathing. Our family kept high hopes and spent everyday with her, hoping for a speedy recovery. But on the morning of April 11th our Mother departed. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren as well as her loving husband Leno Jennings. Our mother was a tough woman and didn’t have us make the choice of letting her go by our will.

We would appreciate any size donations that can go towards funeral expenses, current bills that still need to be paid at my fathers home, loss of income due to my mother and things we may not be aware of as of now. Our mother was loved by so many! We understand times are hard for everybody so only do what you can and if nothing else send PRAYERS for Gods hand to comfort us and guide us.
