Support Jenny Craig's Journey to DNC

Dear friends and supporters, I am writing to you today to ask for your help in getting me to the Democratic National Convention (DNC) this year. I am both humbled and excited that I was elected as a West Virginia Delegate to the DNC this year and I hope to raise money to be able to make attending a reality.

As a passionate advocate for progressive change and a dedicated member of the Democratic Party, I want to attend the convention to represent our values and fight for the future we all deserve. The DNC is a critical opportunity for Democrats to come together, share ideas, and unite behind a common vision for a better America.

I am a member of Ohio County’s Democratic Executive Committee, I serve as the West Virginia State Democratic Executive Committee secretary, I was the chair of the 2024 Ohio County Democratic Convention, and the secretary of the 2024 West Virginia State Democratic Convention. I’m also a proud public school teacher and the president of our local teachers’ association (Ohio County Education Association) within WVEA (NEA). I am eager to serve in my elected role as a West Virginia Delegate to the DNC in Chicago this August.

It is a chance for me to network with other like-minded individuals, attend important workshops and panel discussions, and participate in the democratic process by helping to shape the party platform.

However, attending the DNC is not cheap. There are travel expenses and lodging costs that add up quickly. That is why I am asking for your support. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help cover these expenses and allow me to fully participate in this important event. I truly believe that together, we can make a difference.
