Support Jeremy Holmes' Recovery Journey

Update: Jeremy Holmes, is home now recovering from his wounds and undergoing wound care as well as mental trauma therapy. He is walking with crutches but still unable to work. Jeremy was shot in Cordova while working his job as a Manager at Zaxbys. He was leaving work after waiting for his last employee's ride to pick them up. As he was closing the restaurant alone and getting his car, 3 individuals approached him with AR15's and demanded his car, a Dodge Challenger. As he was getting out of the car with his hands in the air, they shot him and shot up his car. Jeremy was shot 3 times, twice in one leg and once in his other leg. As he started screaming from the pain and fear, the assailants ran away.

Jeremy was losing a lot of blood but was able to drive his car to a local bar right behind the restaurant where he worked. Luckily, an off-duty paramedic and off-duty firefighter were there to administer aid until the paramedics arrived. Jeremy is a 26-year-old Manager of the Zaxby's in Cordova and has worked for the fast-food chain for 10 years, working his way up to manager. He is always looking out for his employees and helping his customers. Everyone loves him because of his pleasant attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to please his customers. He is a positive young man in the community who has never been in trouble a day in his life and has even worked 2 jobs at times to achieve his goals.

Jeremy is currently recovering from his gunshot wounds but has a long road to recovery as his legs were shredded with bullets and he is currently not able to walk or work. He has always been a very responsible young man and staple in our community. I have set up this gofundme to help him with his bills and medical expenses as he recovers. Please help me bless him and show him that our community is in support of him and we thank him for his positive attitude and work ethic.
