My name is Aram Melikian, and I am organizing this fundraiser for Jerrell and Josie Rogers. They are wonderful people with a loving family. Tragically, their 22-year-old son, Jerrell Jr., was killed last month. On July 21st, 2024, our lives changed forever.

Our beloved son Jerrell was at home, playing his game like any other day. He decided to walk to the store for some snacks but tragically got caught in the crossfire between two groups and was killed at just 22 years old. Our family is devastated.

Jerrell had a passion for reading and writing, which led him to pursue his dream of becoming an author. He was full of joy, always silly, and had the biggest heart. He loved everyone and never got into trouble or involved with gangs. He was simply a young man chasing his dreams of being an author and songwriter.
