Support Jerry and Jim in Rebuilding Their Lives

Hello, my name is Jerry Messing, my father is Jim, and we are in a precarious situation. Some of you may already know of me from my continued Covid recovery, but today a different type of help is being asked for. My father and I have had to go into substantial debt for moving twice in the course of barely over a month. The first move was from being priced out of our place in Tampa, and had more go wrong with it than I can properly convey. The second move was of an emergency sort to get us out of a severely unhealthy circumstance that included the arrest of a former family friend and roommate, and his abuse of my father's and my nature as well as what little finances we had.

With all of these events happening in such a short amount of time, we are needing to ask for help. Not just with the paying of basic utilities and bills, but also for the procurement of some basic necessities like food, and some basic items such as a microwave, a vacuum cleaner, and furniture.

The goal that has been set is what would be necessary for us to get back to even, and I want to thank everyone in advance for the help in getting us there. This fundraiser is also separate from my recovery fund, as I feel they are two different things.
