Support Jess's Journey to Recovery

Hello! My nmae is Jess and im a bi-lateral amputee and have been for a few years now. i perform and teach and work in IT. This past year I was disgnosed with a bone marrow infection and went blind as well with detatched retinas. in 2024 i was in the hospital 7 times. 3 surgeries, including one eye surgery, 2 leg surgeries, and pnumonia. Its been really touch andgo for a while and so far we have been able to keep up with daily bills and hospital bills for the most part but it being the new year everything medical has become too muchfor us here at the home stretch. I have one more eye surgery and my legs need parts replaced. ive picked up a part time job teachvoice but it still isnt enough and I need some help. The total for what i need is 2,000 dollars. I will continue to work andfind other jobs to help off set these costs and i promise none of this will go to waste. Im not on disability and dont wish to be. It would require me to divorce (you cant e married and get disability) and would not longer be able to work and i would get less than 700 a month and medicare takes 400 of that. (ive been on disbility before) and that simply isnt liveable. If you have a few bucks laying around and could help out, any amount would help cut down on medical bills that at this moment are 3 car payments a month equivalent. i would greatly appreciate it.
