Support Jesus Rangel's Family

Donation protected
Hello all,
We are the 2003 Premier Soccer team and proudly represent Chicago Fire Juniors City. We are reaching out today asking for your help in supporting our dear friend, Jesus Rangel, and his family. Jesus is not only the center defender for our team and a captain, but also a loving and supportive friend who always puts the needs of others before his own. He is the backbone to our nationally ranked team and we want to help him in any way we can.
Since December 28th, Jesus’ father, Juvencio Rangel, had been in the hospital, and unconscious due to liver failure.  We inform you with deep sadness in our hearts that in the evening of January 24, 2019, Juvencio Rangel passed away, surrounded by family. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband and father. Please keep the Rangel family in your thoughts and prayers.
The income Juvencio earned from working was important in providing for the family of seven. Jesus’ mother, Angelica, has been working day and night to make ends meet for Jesus,15, his older brother Moises, 20, and three sisters; Laura, 18,  Fatima, 16, and Angie, 12yrs old.
The siblings all help financially as much as possible. Laura, 18, is working two jobs, Fatima, 16, has a job and is also a full-time high school student. For the past several weeks, Jesus and Moises have taken over their father’s landscaping job responsibilities, primarily shoveling snow this time of year, when and where they can. Moises, a full-time student and Evan Scholar at Kansas University, has had to return to campus recently to avoid putting his scholarship in jeopardy and losing the part-time job he holds there. Angie has been forced to put her dream of being a gymnast on hold for now since gymnastics classes are no longer in the budget. Even with every member of the family working as hard as they possibly can and making significant sacrifices, they still need our help meeting their basic financial needs during this incredibly difficult time for their family.
We hope that you can empathize with how hard this is for Jesus and his family. My teammates and I struggle to imagine how hard it must be to deal with these financial pressures while also dealing with the emotions of the loss of their loved one. We started this campaign hoping to help the family pay for medical bills, everyday expenses, and to allow the younger members of the family to focus on school and sports rather than jobs. We’re asking for your help. Our ultimate goal is that your donations will ensure that the kids can get back on a path that gives them some security in the near and distant future and that the family can focus on remembering the life of Juvencio rather than having to worry about income.
Thank you for your consideration and time. Please donate what you can. Every dollar is appreciated!
