We’re reaching out to our community to rally support for our dear friend, Jimmy Vannasing, and his family during this incredibly challenging time. Jimmy has recently been diagnosed with severe heart failure and is in immediate need of a heart transplant. He is currently in the hospital, receiving critical care and numerous medications to support his heart while awaiting the next steps.

Jimmy will eventually need to travel to Stanford, where he will remain as he awaits a donor match for a life-saving heart transplant.

Anyone who knows Jimmy knows he has a fierce spirit, a kind heart, and an unwavering commitment to his community. He has always inspired those around him to be their best; now it’s our turn to support him. Unfortunately, this illness has taken a devastating toll on his family, not only emotionally but also financially.

How You Can Help

We are launching this fundraising campaign to help ease the financial burden for Jimmy and his ohana as they navigate this difficult journey. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to assist with medical expenses, travel costs, and the many unforeseen expenses that come with such a complex and costly procedure.

The 5-year survival rate for heart transplant patients is around 70-80%, and success is influenced by factors such as:
