Support Jimmy's On The River Recover From Second Crash

Hi Everyone,

My name is Christina, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for support on behalf of my father, Jimmy, who owns and operates Jimmy’s On The River. As many of you know, the restaurant has faced some incredible challenges over the past two years.

In 2022, Jimmy’s On The River was hit by a car overnight. Thankfully, no customers were present at the time, and no one was hurt. Since then, my dad has been working tirelessly to keep the restaurant open while managing extensive repairs and renovations.

Despite nearly completing 90% of the necessary renovations, Jimmy's On The River recently faced another devastating setback: a second crash into the restaurant. This time, customers were inside, but we are incredibly relieved that staff and patrons were able to walk away unharmed.

My dad, Jimmy, had implemented several protective measures, including columns, an elevated sidewalk, and a stone wall around the patio, to prevent such incidents. We believe these precautions helped prevent extensive injuries to our customers during open hours.

To support the restaurant and the dedicated staff during this challenging time, I have set up this GoFundMe campaign. Your contributions will help Jimmy's On The River cover the costs of repairs and ensure that the restaurant can continue to serve the community and provide for the hardworking team. Unfortunately, the businesses insurance won’t cover these damages because it was still pending inspection and estimation for the renovations.
