In Mid-February, I was admitted unexpectedly with side pain and shortness of breath. After a series of tests and x-rays, it was discovered that I had fluid in the right lung. Once the fluid extraction and normal breathing was restored, the results and the grim diagnosis of Mesothelioma Cancer was given. I am seeking a 2nd opinion in Houston for the best form of treatment. Many x-rays, CT scans, PET scans and a biopsy have been performed with treatment to begin soon after the 2nd opinions have been concluded in Houston. With this sudden and unexpected diagnosis and with my loving wife, Lily, having to resign her new State job to attend all appointments, she has become my primary caregiver. She is my biggest supporter on this journey and we now embark our biggest fight towards Mesothelioma together.

This fight of course comes with medical bills now starting to roll in, this diagnosis has truly presented the hardship no one ever expects.

We've educated ourselves as much as we possibly can about Mesothelioma, but we leave it to the experts to review all test results and remain positive that we have the best Doctor's in place.

Even with this set back, Lily and I remain true in our faith in our most challenging time of our almost 29 yrs. married and would truly appreciate any help and support while I begin my treatment.
