Help Us Lay Jimmy Laboy to Rest

James "Jimmy" Laboy passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024, at the age of 38. His sudden passing has left his family heartbroken and struggling to navigate this unimaginable loss.

Jimmy was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves behind his three children—two daughters, aged 16 and 15, and a 12-year-old son—who meant the world to him. Jimmy is also survived by his devoted mother, grandmother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished pets.

The heartbreak of losing Jimmy comes as the family is already enduring significant challenges. Jimmy's sister Heather is currently hospitalized, bravely fighting for her own life. A separate GoFundMe campaign was created to support her medical expenses, adding to the overwhelming financial strain on the family. Tragically, Jimmy did not have life insurance, and they are now faced with the urgent need to raise funds for his burial and funeral services.

As a close friend of Lindsey’s, I am organizing this fundraiser to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the costs of the funeral and burial. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and mean the world to this grieving family.
