November 19, 1937 - August 10, 2024

This fundraiser is to help pay funeral cost and bills for my Grandmother all of the funds will go directly to her daughter “my mother” who is stuck with this heavy burden anything helps thank you!

She passed away due to an 20 year battle with lung cancer on Saturday Aug 10th, We absolutely loved her so much. Anything helps, even if it’s just to share!

JoAnn Worley Evans Kise, born November 19, 1937, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 10, 2024. A native of Asheville, NC, she was preceded in death by parents Clifford and Thelma Worley, husband Don L. Kise, daughters Linda Dianne and Cynt Evans Green, sister Linda Jeanette Worley Ledford, and granddaughter Bran Green Sprouse.

Surviving her are daughters Deborah Evans Baker of Hinton, WV and Sherry Evans of Charlotte, NC, along with 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Nancy Worley Price of Asheville, NC.

During her working career, JoAnn managed several businesses, then retired from Lowe's Garden Center in 2002. She enjoyed many hobbies such as drawing and painting, gardening, quilting, and baking, among others. She loved being surrounded by family and loved cooking for them.

In lieu of services, the family requests donations to be made to Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte, NC.
