Support Jody and Family After Gentry's Passing

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Gentry Asher our dear friend and coworker suffered a massive heart attack. It is hard to put into words the gamut of emotions that we, as his coworkers, have experienced over the last few weeks. We go from immense sorrow to feelings of happiness because we were able to call Gentry our friend.

Gentry and his wife Jody relocated from St. Louis in early 2024; and quickly became part of the BestDrive family. He was known to all his coworkers as a go-getter and a kind, wonderful person. He worked hard and was a leader who was greatly respected.

With his sudden passing, Gentry leaves behind Jody, his wife, two sons and two grandchildren. Gentry loved his family and will be deeply missed.

We need to support Jody and his family during this tragic time. The family is understandably shocked by this loss. Losing a loved one is never easy but coping with a sudden loss adds an entirely different aspect to the grieving process. There isn’t a playbook or directions to follow to enable someone to navigate this cruel twist of life.

Naturally Jody will experience the hardship of trying to cope throughout the coming days, months and we want to try and ease the financial burden she faces. There is the cost of funeral arrangements as well as the loss of gentry’s income to pay for household expenses.
