An open letter from Jody Harris, artist & poet.

Recently, I have had several health challenges. I have been in the hospital since April 18th and now I'm in rehab. My health situation is dire right now. From losing my left foot to internal bleeding, and more, I have been fighting to gain back my health and keep my spirits up.

If you know me, you know I'm a fighter, but now—I need help getting back to square one.

Right now, I am trapped in a rehab in Detroit, MI, and just want to get back home to Georgia, so I can take care of my medical needs and costs.

Some of my basic needs include a walker for when I leave rehab & a leg scooter that my insurance won't pay for.
