Support Joe and Shayanne's Road to Recovery

On April 14, 2024, our friends Joe and Shayanne were enjoying a beautiful spring day together when their motorcycle was run off the side of the road by a truck. They were both thrown from the bike and while they are grateful to be alive, they both sustain multiple injuries and bone fractures that will leave them needing physical therapy and lots of pain management in order to be able to walk and live their normal lives again.

As we all know, medical bills are outrageous and our American healthcare system often sets us up for failure. Joe, a US Military vet, is not fully insured, and Shayanne, who runs her own business, has zero coverage.

Not only will the financial burden for their own injuries and treatment be insurmountable, but they will also need to invest in extra help for Joe’s mother who currently lives with them, since they won’t be able to help her in the way they typically do.

Let us all rally together to support these amazing friends in an effort to take some of the burden off their shoulders. They are the types of people who would do anything for those they love, and now it’s time that we do the same for them!!
