Joe is not just a colleague; he is a cherished friend, and a vital part of our team. His positive spirit, hard work, and unwavering kindness have touched so many lives, and now it’s our turn to give back.

Right now, Joe is battling stage four pancreatic cancer and is fighting for his disability benefits with no income coming in. Joe has to undergo chemotherapy every two weeks, which leaves him too sick to work. On top of this, Joe is raising two children with no current income. Joe's mother has tried to help with expenses, but she has her own bills to pay and it's difficult to afford multiple trips to Charleston every week for treatment.

The financial strain of this situation is overwhelming. Medical bills are mounting, and the cost of medications and therapies is significant. Travel expenses for frequent trips to Charleston for treatment are adding up, creating an additional burden. Everyday living expenses, such as groceries, utilities, and housing costs, are becoming increasingly difficult to manage without a steady income.

Despite these challenges, Joseph remains determined and hopeful, focusing on his health and his children. However, the stress of financial insecurity is taking a toll on their well-being, making it harder to concentrate on his recovery.
