Support Joeys Fight Against Kidney and Liver Failure
Donation protected
Hello, our dad, Joey, has been diagnosed with Liver and Kidney failure on May 8th, 2024.
About 17 years ago our dad was diagnosed with fatty liver disease. Through the years it had unfortunately got more severe and just as his levels began to improve his health took a turn for the worse, which leads him to now being hospitalized, bedridden, on an ongoing roller coaster trying to get his levels stable as we wait to be transferred to a specialist.
Joey has been suffering his battles with alcoholism as he would use alcohol for an outlet through past and current struggles. Despite the obstacles and hurdles that Joey was facing he was on the road towards recovery. Going through rehab and cutting down on the alcohol consumption tremendously, going from a 30 pack a day to just a few cans. Joey was wanting to show his friends and family, especially his daughters, the strength he has to recover from the addiction that consumed his life for many years.
Joey is a loving father to 5, brother to 2, son, fiancée, and grandpa to 1. He also be the one to turn to when you needed a laugh or warm hug. He would always be the one to crack the first joke at dinner. Joey would do anything to protect his daughters, no matter the obstacles. He would do anything to mend any of the missing pieces together, being the ultimate glue of the family.
As we navigate through this heartbreaking journey, we are reaching out for your support. Any generous contributions will go towards Joey’s medical expenses, this will include treatments, medications, and any of his necessary procedures. Your kindness will alleviate some of the financial burdens, allowing our focus to be on Joey and his road to recovery.
No donations during this time will be too small, every dollar counts. During this time we can make an impact on Joey’s life and recovery, allowing him to continue impacting everyone’s life with his contagious smile and laughter.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank each and everyone of you for making a donation, prayer, and sending hope during such a devastating time.
With Gratitude,
Zamora Family
