Support Joey's Life-Saving Surgery

Joey is a 9-year-old Corgi who was surrendered to us on January 17th. He was urinating blood even when he was just walking. We immediately got him to our vet, who determined that he was full of bladder stones and some were obstructing his left kidney. The surgery was too complex for them, so we were referred to a specialist. He is at Advanced Veterinary Clinic, and they are performing cystolitholapaxy (bladder stone removal) today. There are so many stones in his bladder, and 2 of them are blocking his kidney, so it is a major surgery. Luckily, it has not affected his kidneys.

The estimate is $7,000 to $9,000!! We are just a small non-profit rescue, and we have been forced to take out a loan to pay for this surgery. It is our responsibility to take care of our dogs, and we will not neglect any necessary care for them. We desperately need your help. We cannot exist without the support of the public. We do not turn anyone away due to their medical issues; every life is precious.
