Support Johana and Family

Donation protected
This GoFundMe page has been established by Johana’s Sister Kenia to support Johana Velasquez and her 10 Children.

On the night of Saturday Sept 21 2024 Jannai Allen, 30yrs old was driving in Hicksville and was struck by a drunk driver driving a 2005 Honda mini van. The families vehicle Jannai was driving was fatally engulfed in flames, trapping and leading to the passing of their beloved husband and father.

Jannai Allen was a remarkably humble man, embodying the essence of dedication as a father. Alongside his partner, Johana Velasquez, he embraced the challenges and joys of raising ten children—from their eldest, who had just embarked on her college journey, to their youngest, just a year old. He leaves behind six stepchildren and a bonus daughter whom he loved as his own, along with three biological children: Aleali, Kysre, and Iannai. Jannai poured his heart into nurturing this large, blended family, cherishing his highest title: "Dad."

This GoFundMe page has been established to support Johana and her children during this challenging time to ease the financial strain on the family so they can focus on what truly matters .. their 10 children; including the mental health of all kids. Your donations will go directly toward the families unexpected costs.

As Johana navigates this difficult period every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated by the family. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Please also share this campaign with others who may be able to help and continue to send prayers. Jannai and Johana shared their home together and while he was the main provider she will need financial support during these difficult times.

Jannai was not just a devoted Spouse; he was a remarkable father who embraced his role as a stepdad to seven children, including three biological kids of his own.

Jannai dedicated himself to raising a blended family, steering his oldest stepson toward academic success and supporting his football aspirations. He never missed a gymnastics or dance training for his two younger daughters and was always present at volleyball and cheer practices for his two older stepdaughters. His unwavering support and love created a nurturing environment for all his children.

Funds will go directly to the family for any expenses due to this hardship.
