My name is John White. I have worked hard from the time I was 15 years old at my first job through many jobs in fast food, hospitality and guest service at places such as Universal Orlando, Orlando International Airport, TGI Fridays, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, and my longest career in fitness at Orangetheory Fitness, serving my community to the best of my ability at the highest energy level. I also opened and ran my first business, At the Core Health and Fitness. I was able to successfully grow my personal training business during the pandemic as I created value and a safe space for my clients to work out and achieve their fitness goals at a time when that was hard to find.
Now, after many small life-changing events, I find myself going back to my roots in accounting because I want to harness the knowledge I earned. I obtained a degree in accounting that I only used sparingly as a manager in the hospitality industry. I am, at heart, a creator. I am combining my love for helping people, giving them the full service and attention they deserve by using my accounting knowledge to help their own small business achieve success and creating my business in a way that will serve my community and allow me to build something meaningful to me and my clients.
As a dedicated bookkeeper for small businesses, I’m passionate about helping businesses gain a clear, actionable view of their company’s financial health. By tracking numbers and analyzing key data, I provide insights that empower businesses to make smarter decisions—boosting profits, cutting unnecessary costs, and setting businesses up for long-term success. On average, a well-managed bookkeeping system can help increase profits by 10-30% through Expense Tracking & Reduction, Cash Flow Management, Tax Savings, Financial Insights, and Reducing Errors & Fraud.
I have found a drive and passion for creating something that I haven't felt yet in my lifetime. I cannot wait to see what I've built one year from now, but in life, sometimes we all need a little nudge in the right direction. So here is where I reach out to the community I want to serve.
I would like to be able to comfortably build my client base over the first year of doing business without using personal funds that are very sparse at the moment as I start this business venture.
My plan is to run this fundraiser from March 1 - 31. The goal is to raise 50%-100% of one year of operating cost.
