Johnnie Mae Bryant, 91, of Pickens, SC, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born on April 17, 1933, in Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Coyle and Lola Ellen Duncan Coyle and the wife of 50 years to the late Jessie Bryant. Johnnie was one of a kind; she was mother and father to her whole family and extended family. "Care" was her name. She loved the outdoors and was constantly trimming and cutting trees.
She is survived by her children: Hazel McCall and Linda Garrison (Gene); brothers: Freddie Coyle Jr. and Joseph "Bud" Samuel Coyle; sisters: Carolyn Rita Faye Coyle and Mary Magdalene Coyle; 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her children: Mitchell Ray Bryant, James Phillip Bryant, and Marilyn Arlene Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1 pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
