Support Johnny and Lila's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
My name is Carlos DiazSanmiguel (son) and Angel Diaz (grandson); we are reaching out on behalf of my parents and grandparents, Johnny Mack Roberson (83 yrs) and Lila Roberson (74 yrs), who tragically lost their Altadena home of 42 years to the devastating Eaton fires on January 8th, 2025. A last-minute 4 AM evacuation text gave them just enough time to leave with only a backpack and their lives, but they now face the daunting task of rebuilding their life from scratch. Johnny, a retired Chief Quartermaster of the U.S. Navy and dedicated government contractor, and Lila, a Colombian immigrant and former sales manager turned notary public, have spent decades giving back to their community through nonprofit work with organizations like the Pasadena/Altadena Coalition of Transformative Leaders (PACTL) and Be Strong Families. Despite their resilience, strength, and caring spirits, they need financial and emotional support to navigate this catastrophe. My family and I are doing all we can, but we are asking for your help to assist Johnny and Lila in rebuilding their lives and the funds will be used for temporary and immediate needs. Any contribution, no matter the size, would make a meaningful difference to our family during this difficult time.
