In Loving Memory of Johnny “Huero” Lara

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved brother, Johnny. Johnny was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He left this world peacefully in his sleep on the morning of December 26th, 2024.

The day before, on Christmas Day, Johnny shared a wonderful dinner with his sister Debbie and brother-in-law Ed. He was in good spirits, looking well and smiling, though he had been struggling with his breathing due to his battle with COPD.

Johnny was known for his joyful, loving, and playful nature. His infectious personality touched the lives of so many, and it’s hard to imagine life without him. We know he had been grieving the loss of his beloved mother, Katie Lara, who passed in 2020, and we take comfort in knowing that Johnny is now at peace, reunited with her.

As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we want to honor Johnny’s memory with the memorial service he deserves. To help cover funeral expenses, we humbly ask for your support through donations.
