Support John's Funeral: A Tribute to a Hero
Donation protected
Taking care of the community and the people in it were John Bruetsch’s everyday life. I am asking anyone that can help with covering the costs of his funeral expenses to please donate so we can take care of John like he took care of us. All funds will be sent to Parthemore Funeral Home.
John W. Bruetsch, 65, of Enola died Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was a retired Logistics Coordinator from Veritiv Corporation, Camp Hill. He previously worked at Konhaus Farms, Harrisburg Paper and xpedx. He served as Chief Public Information Officer for East Pennsboro Twp. and Cumberland County and served as Treasurer for Pennsylvania National Fire Museum.
He also served and volunteered for numerous local fire companies in the Enola and surrounding areas. It was always a great day to see John come visit his wife Julie at bingo and then help in the kitchen serve dinner. Fire houses were his second home. If you ask his wife and family they may say it was his first (wink, wink, jk).
As far as my relationship with John, I am very close to his wife Julie. I’m also forever grateful for our one adventure to meet at Shady Maple for my spare keys to my car. My original ones are somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean in a fishes belly or buried deep in the sand.
Thank you all for being part of John’s life. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. FYI, I can assure you each donation comes with tears from his family, especially Julie for helping taking care of this during this difficult time.
