Support John's Journey to New Lungs

To know John is to love him. He is one of the kindest, most caring, strong, and warm people you'll ever come into contact with. Ask his friends, colleagues, and family, we'll all say the same thing–John is the best of the best.

Known by many as "JP," he's a staple in the Sugarbush community, both on the mountain and the golf course. He's a selfless individual who would do anything for anyone.

After dealing with numerous health issues, it was determined earlier this year that John would need a lung transplant. He, along with his long-time partner Siobhan, have already faced the challenge and mental load of numerous trips to Mass General (all the way from Vermont) for various appointments with all of the specialists required for a transplant of this capacity. Through it all, John has remained strong and determined. At this point, John is in the ICU at Mass General, undergoing the remainder of any necessary testing and we're awaiting the news that he's been placed on the transplant list. From there, we wait for the news that there's a match and John will undergo the lung transplant.

The road ahead is going to be a long one, with more tests, the eventual transplant, and the recovery process. Just as John would be there for someone, we're asking for your support in coming together to be there for him through it all.
