Through this journey, I connected with distant cousins and finally, I was able to connect with my aunt on my father's side. With her help, I was able to establish a connection with my father, and I spoke to him for the first time on the phone about a year ago. It was like a lifetime movie moment. However, despite my desire to meet him in person, he lives in Colorado and I live in California. Financial struggles have continuously hindered my ability to make visiting him a reality. Each time I manage to save up a little, unexpected bills and expenses wipe out my savings, leaving me at a standstill. Tragically, my father's health took a turn for the worse as he suffered a heart attack. Now, more than ever, I am reaching out to you for your kindness and support.
