Support Jory Micah

If I am being honest this has been the most brutal fourth months of my life. First I broke my ankle in three places and literally lost my ability to walk and care for myself for months. Then my dad’s cancer took a turn for the worst and I separated from my husband (who I have been fully financially dependent on for a decade) and moved in with my parents.

 

The silver lining is that I spent the last couple months of my life with my dad as he passed away before my eyes. We took naps together, watched “Cheers,” listened to music, and exchanged constant “I love yous” as both of us lost our ability to walk at the same time.
