Support Joseph and Lacey's Newborn's Recovery

Hello, my name is Joseph Weiss, and my girlfriend, Lacey Steele. We just had our first son over at OSU in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on 11/4/2024. There was a complication during delivery; there was a 5-minute shoulder dystocia, and during the struggle to get him out, his cord was ripped off. So, on top of the lack of oxygen going to him from being stuck, he also didn't get the sufficient blood and nutrients he needed.

He is currently at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The time of him staying there is currently unknown. As of right now, he is finishing his cooling procedure, and Thursday (11/7/2024) or possibly Friday (11/8/2024), he will be getting an MRI done to see if he has retained any possible brain damage from the traumatic birth he experienced.

On the other hand, Lacey Steele and I will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, Ohio. We are asking for help with getting essentials like gas, food, laundry, parking, etc. Anything helps. I appreciate all the thoughts and shares. Thank you all very much.
