Support the Hunt Family in Memory of Joseph P. Hunt

We are heartbroken to share the tragic passing of our beloved Joseph Hunt, who lost his life on September 22, 2024, in a devastating fire at their family home. Joseph was a wonderful man—kind, generous, and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His warmth and laughter touched the lives of everyone he met.

As we come together to honor his memory, we are raising funds to help rebuild what was lost in this unimaginable tragedy and to bring awareness to the neurological disease CADASIL. Ultimately, the immobility resulting from this disease contributed greatly to his passing. We feel he may have had a different outcome in this tragedy if it weren't for CADASIL. It is our mission to fight for continued research on a disease we know so little about.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us donate to CADASIL research and provide some relief to our grieving family. A family who lost their father and has left Barbara and Joey displaced and without all they once owned.

Over the last two days, people have been reaching out to help with clothing, toothbrushes, all of the basics that we take for granted each day.

Insurance will be handling the home and any tangible items that they have lost, but the process will be a long, arduous journey, so the goal is to get them all back on their feet.
