Support Joseph Molina's Road to Recovery

Hello, we're the family of Joseph Molina and we truly appreciate you taking the time to hear his story. Last November, Joseph had unforeseen multiple organ failures that resulted in medical complications and an extended stay in the ICU, ultimately being told his only chance at survival was a transplant.

Much to the amazement of the doctors and nurses, Joseph pulled through the worst of it and began the road to recovery. He recently underwent a liver transplant and is safely recuperating on site in Houston, where he has to stay through at least the summer. He is beyond grateful to get a second chance to be here for his son, family, and all his loved ones.

Over the years, Joseph has given much of his time to the community; volunteering with the Cameron County Election department, teaching in the local schools for over a decade, and tutoring since he was a student himself. He has taught and helped raise many chess champions, some have even gone on to win university scholarships! He is well known and loved in the Brownsville community and beyond.

Today, Joseph needs your help. Our family needs your help. Anything you can give would be appreciated beyond words. Joseph is in good spirits as he recovers from his liver transplant. He is going to need time to get back on his feet, as well as continued medical treatment in Houston, including supplies and post surgery care. We are beyond blessed for this second chance at life, but we need financial help to get us through the next few months and the hurdles that are still to come.
