Support Josh Hunter and his family during his cancer fight!

We could all share a personal story about Josh Hunter! He is an amazing husband, father, son, brother, or friend to all of us. If you are in his circle, you know he will always be there to support and help anyway he can. I know my family can personally attest to this! Josh has a beautiful wife Jessica, two sweet daughters Aly and Lexi, and a son Seth who is his mini me! He loves taking care of his family and he is their rock. Most of us who work with Josh know we can find him at the gym, cracking jokes, or helping with anything you need.

On Monday March 18th he and his family received news no one expected. Josh was very lethargic Monday morning, and his wife became concerned. She got him to the ER and after a CT they found a 4cm mass on his brain. He was quickly transferred to Presbyterian where he was met with a Neurology team and quickly discussed surgery. That Wednesday, Josh underwent brain surgery to remove the mass. Thankfully, surgery was successful, and his recovery has been nothing short of miraculous! But, again that’s Josh for you!

Of course, the next step was to find out why this happened. After many tests and biopsies, they were hit with another blow. Josh was diagnosed with metastatic esophageal cancer. The C word, something no one should ever have to hear. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Josh has heard this. He knows he has a long fight ahead of him and in true Josh fashion, he is ready to tackle it head on. His family is ready to be by his side and so are all of us! It will take a village and a lot of support to get through this.

This is where we all come in! A diagnosis like this will take many appointments, hospital stays and travel. It means being out of work, his wife being out of work to be by his side, and needing help with the kids. All their family are out of state, so they will be travelling as well when they can. Anything we can do to support bills, groceries, gas, food, and travel will be one less burden off their shoulders.
