Help Joshua and Rebekah Through a Challenging Time
We are reaching out to seek support for Joshua, a healthy 36-year-old who has been working diligently at the state capitol for the past year. Recently, Joshua experienced a sudden, sharp pain in his head, which led to an ER visit and a life-altering diagnosis: a brain hemorrhage caused by a dural arteriovenous fistula. This condition involves an irregular connection between arteries and veins in the brain and poses a serious risk of rupture and neurological damage.
The neurosurgeon has outlined a complex treatment plan that may include a staged endovascular approach, open cranial surgery, and possibly stereotactic radiosurgery. Each option has significant implications and uncertainties, including the number of procedures needed, the recovery process, and the potential for long-term therapy. Joshua’s ability to return to work is uncertain, and there will be considerable out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance.
Joshua and his wife, Rebekah, are navigating this difficult situation while caring for their three young children: a 5-year-old, a 1.5-year-old, and a 3-month-old. The emotional and financial strain is immense, and they need our help to cover medical costs, support their family during this challenging time, and manage any additional expenses that arise.
We are asking for your support to ease their burden and provide some stability as they face this uncertain journey. Your generous contributions will go directly toward medical bills, lost wages, and other essential expenses.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference in Joshua and Rebekah’s lives.
