Support Joshua McCoy's Final Journey

We are heartbroken to share about the tragic loss of our beloved 5 year old Joshua McCoy. Joshua’s life was tragically cut short, and his family is now facing unimaginable grief and loss. We are asking for your help to bring Joshua back home to Ohio and provide him with the funeral and memorial services he deserves.

Joshua’s father, Amos McCoy, is a disabled veteran on a fixed income. He had been the primary caregiver for Joshua, raising him after the boy’s mother went to school and work. Despite the difficulties of life, Amos did everything he could to raise his son with love and care. Now, in the wake of this devastating loss, he is struggling with the financial burden of bringing his baby boy home to lay him to rest beside his great-grandparents, who are buried in Ohio.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used for the following:

1. Transportation and Funeral Costs: To bring Joshua back home to Ohio and lay him to rest beside his great-grandparents, we need help with travel expenses and funeral costs, including casket, burial plot, and the service.

2. Counseling and Therapy: Amos, along with his other children, will need counseling and therapy to cope with this loss. Any help to cover these emotional costs is greatly appreciated.

3. Private Investigator Services: We are exploring all avenues to understand the circumstances surrounding Joshua’s death, and a private investigator may be necessary to get answers and provide some closure to the family.

4. Daily Living Expenses: Amos is unable to work full-time due to his disability, and this tragedy has left the family financially strained. Donations will help cover basic living expenses during this difficult time.

5. Memorial and Tribute Expenses: Any funds remaining will go toward creating a meaningful memorial for Joshua, honoring the beautiful boy he was and the joy he brought to those around him.
