Support Joshua's Recovery from Major Surgeries

Donation protected
On March 3, 2025, Joshua Dingus had to undergo a major stomach surgery at UVA Charlottesville to repair 8 hernias and 3 abdominal wall tears. Due to complications after the initial surgery, Joshua had to be transferred back to UVA Charlottesville hospital on March 9th. An emergency surgery was performed to explore his stomach. It was discovered then that because of his severe scar tissue, it was putting pressure on his bowels causing a blockage. Also, blood clots were found under his new mesh that had been placed for hernias, so they had to remove the mesh inside his stomach. The surgeons decided then that Josh's stomach issues were too severe to continue and they ended the surgery without fixing the blockage. Joshua's stomach was now more compromised than before the first surgery. Joshua then had to rely on the PICC line for nutrients and the prayers of God's people for healing. Joshua’s final procedure was on March 21st and the surgeon was able to dilate the bowel area with a balloon to fix the blockage. Joshua made his way back home on March 26th, but it has not been an easy recovery. Joshua was denied for his short-term disability. If you know anything about who Joshua is, he has worked 2-3 jobs to provide for his family. This news has caused him severe stress. Today, April 17, 2025, he has been diagnosed with two blood clots in the same arm that his PICC line was at. He is on shots and medicine. We are asking anyone that feels lead to please consider making a donation to Joshua and his family as this will help with his medical bills and take pressure off him since he is not able to return back to work right now. We appreciate all of those that have prayed and made donations. We truly live in the best community that love our people. Please know Joshua and all of our family appreciates you!

Love and prayers!
