Support Jovan's Fight Against Deportation

On Wednesday, Nov. 13th, 2024 Jovan was unexpectedly stopped and detained by ICE agents on his commute to San Diego for work. He was not given an opportunity to contact his wife or family for a few days, leaving everyone to believe something was wrong and later finding out he was detained in San Diego awaiting a trail and possibly deportation.

Jovan has been living in the Unites States for over 20 years having taken root to forming a family and a community that he is actively part of. Jovan is the definition of a hard worker looking for opportunity in the US. He is caring and empathetic, always willing to help a friend without hesitation and without question.

He was also in the process of obtaining his residency, which is now being challenged and in danger of being nullified and revoked.

Our objective is to get Jovan out of detention and back with his family as soon as possible in addition to paying fees to get him back on the road towards citizenship. We will also have to cover for bond, lawyer visitations, and lost wages on both Jovan and his wife.
